Pan seared chops with Mac & Cheese for dinner!


Tonight for din din I decided on the classic, (atleast in my family) , PORKCHOPS! Before I was pregnant I didn't eat pork of any kind. Growing up as a family we ate pork but when I entered college and got deep into my major I learned how dirty the pig is as an animal and how unhealthy the meat can be especially if the pig wasn't cared for in an organic way. Nonetheless! I simply buy organic or grass fed, I couldnt resist pork while i was pregnant but I knew I had to eat it the right way! 

Here goes the meal !!! 


I like buying pork loins, a thicker cut from Sprouts. After unpackaging the meat I rinse it and lay it for seasoning ...




I season the chops with the above seasonings and coat a nonstick skillet with the Pompeian EVOO...



I love love love sprouts and buy all my vegetables from there!

 •Rinse the frozen green beans once and drain them in a strainer. 
•Add teaspoon of butter in a small pot on low heat. 
•Cook green beans until tender, add seasonings & bacon for added flavor! 






Homemade macaroni and cheese is the ONLY way!

•Bring water to boil in a size appropriate pot. Add macaroni elbows.
•Rinse and drain elbows when they are al dente.
•In the same pot add elbows, chunks of velveeta cheese, and milk.
•Stir until desired texture.

•Cornbread
